Thursday 29th July 2010 – Kingswood Bowls

Lawn BowlingThursday 29th July 2010 – Kingswood Bowls.

Plenty of beer topped off with some great food.

The fellowship booked for next Thursday at Kingswood bowls will start at 7:00 pm the price will be approximately £11. The price will be inclusive of green fee and a top notch BBQ, there is a fully licensed bar on site so please can everyone try and not drive!!!

Kingswood bowls is located on new pale road, Kingswood, Frodsham.

Roger won the Whiskey taking the crown from Matt Burrow on the last bowl, and then managed to smash it with his bike, what a waste! Chris was playing with his Ginger Balls and both DJ and Allen were crap (it is official) and still managed to lose even with professionals on there teams.

Banger Races 8th June 2010

Bangor on dee is a grat venue for an evening at the races. We even had some members of Chester Round table come and join us.

We pretty much all didn’t win except of course John Perfect. Although there was that last race (was that a tip?)

La tasca was brilliant. Enough food even for Tim! Although Chris gets the “not a boy scout” award for not testing his horse blowup suit before getting Steve into it.

Dads and kids Weekend away – 4.10.09

What a great time was had by all – lots of new members attended for the first time, with lasting memories.

We had rope climbing, body boarding, adult musical chairs (with several getting broken), adult musical statues (with added testosterone), rope of doom and also activities for the kids!

We had superkid with his invisible clothing, deal or no deal with prizes of chocolate…………………… too much fun was had by all.

What was that strange thing on the landing snoring under a carpet – was it the awakening and  the resurrection of Moses!

Kayaking River Dee – 25.08.09

A brilliant night arranged by Tim – Kayaking on the river Dee.  Matt jumps off the chain bridge and then decides to pull in the poor swimmers! The poor swimmer panics and stamps on a broken bottle – lovely clean waterways we have in Britain! Moses turned up with his clothes on his stalking stick, and we nearly had the burning bush (Thanks DJ)  We all got wet apart from the cooks, who even managed to rustle up some cardboard sausages !
